Our Headquarters

OPEM is located in Parma in a modern industrial area. The premises occupy a 33,583 sq m plot, much larger than the built area. This choice created a green zone as wide as 5,110 sq m, equal to 15% of the total surface. OPEM's new headquarters covers a total surface of about 16,700 sq m divided into 12,000 sq m hosting the research and development labs, the production and assembly areas and 4,700 sq m for the management, administration and sales offices.

The construction of the new building is in line with the company's policies and mission, in fact, it carefully blends technological research with environmental awareness.

Rationality, transparency, communication between parties, are the architectural themes that guided the design of the spaces and the façade of the new headquarters.

The "journey" starts from the entrance on the corner, an important symbolic spot, where the hall leads to the spaces; this is the building's beating heart with the spiral staircase and the main lift.

The building is innovative and modern.

Much work has been done, in particular: energy conservation, smart management of the building's systems, with virtuous technical decisions such as thermal insulation with ventilated façades for the offices and underfloor radiant heating, and even the addition of a large photovoltaic roof with peak output of 542 kWp.

New ideas will continue to be conceived and developed in this facility, and all the projects that have enabled the company to grow constantly and solidly during these years will be completed in-house. Such growth has led OPEM to operate with professional commitment and competence on all markets worldwide.
